Prasar Bharati issued the north east zone transfer policy for the subordinate engineering cadre in the order of F.No. A- 10011 /13/2023 dated 22/23-10-2023 with the subject “Inviting applications from willing and eligible officers (SEA/EA/ Sr. Tech/ Tech) for posting in North East Zone-reg” from Prasar Bharati Secretariat, New Delhi, an opportunity has come up for eligible officers in subordinate engineer’s cadre. This invitation was released on October 22, 2023, is for Senior Engineering Assistants (SEA), Engineering Assistants (EA), Senior Technicians (Sr.Tech), and Technicians (Tech) who are willing to be posted to the North East Zone( NEZ). This order might be issued to address staffing needs in the NEZ and ensure balanced development across regions.
The posting of officers selected in North East Zone will be as per the following conditions of the North East Zone Transfer Policy of Prasar Bharati:
1. Tenure of posting in NEZ will be equivalent to the tenure of the Station where the officer will be posted.
2. The posting of selected officers in NEZ will be considered in the public interest and TA/DA and other transfer benefits will be admissible to officers selected for posting.
3. During their tenure at NEZ, all the benefits admissible will be available to the employees.
4. On posting in NEZ, the seniority of applicants selected shall remain protected in their respective parent Zone and their HR issues like Promotion/MACP will be dealt by their respective parent Zone.
5. On completion of their tenure in NEZ, applicants will be given choice posting in their respective parent Zone.
Only those officers who have completed at least 3 years of service in their Parent Zone are eligible to apply for these posts under the North East Zone Transfer Policy of Prasar Bharati
Willing and eligible candidates may send their applications along with the particulars in the enclosed proforma (Annexure ll) to EPM Cell, DG: Akashvani (epmdgair@prasarbharati.gov.in.) through their respective Zonal Offices. Officers while applying shall submit three different choices for consideration of their application. They will be posted based on the requirements of setups and as per their choices.
The zonal office shall forward those applications of officers who can be relieved in the event of their selection. Any proposal for retention/cancellation of any officer subsequent to his/ her selection will not be entertained.
All the applications, complete in all respects, should reach EPM, DG: Akashvani. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date would not be considered.
